Come on over and discuss: “The Joys and Challenges of Homeschooling”
Since our world has turned topsy-turvy, and everyone has been forced to home school, I thought it might be helpful to provide some free help and encouragement to those who are overwhelmed by this! Being one of those who was also plunged unwillingly into homeschooling (way back in 1991) I know how you feel.
I have many close friends who have home schooled for many years, and some of them will be joining me in these live webinars. Most of us have educated our own kids all the way through 12th grade, and are now watching them thrive in college and beyond–even though we often felt like failures while we were doing it!

A little bit about how we got excited about homeschooling: I thought that I would endure homeschooling for a year or so for the kids’ sake, just until we could find a good school for them to attend. But into the 2nd year we all got addicted to the lifestyle of learning we were creating. Later, after two of them “tried” out public school one year in high school, they both came back to our free homeschooling life–not being able to put up with the immature games students played with each other. Now our three sons are all grown up and happy. One is a lawyer, happily married with three kids. Another got his B.S. in economics and has a wonderful family, too. The third son is a voice actor and singer, living in Europe. ~ Beth Harvey
A GREAT BOOK on homeschooling, to inspire you–
Over the years I’ve read perhaps 50+ books on education and home education! But For the Children’s Sake by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay is the one that stands out most in my mind as the most inspiring book on homeschooling!
